I’m feeling a lot better, thanks!

I did get a chance to look at Livemocha.com. It was a pretty decent site! I’m not personally into social networking/peer support mainly because I don’t have enough time to spend on getting to know new people over the internet. I have too many friends as it is, and I have a hard time keeping up with them all. But it’s definitely an interesting thing, having a community to work with to get help in learning. Although, I would be a little wary personally of asking a non-native speaker for help with something because it’s very easy with a language as different as Chinese to miss things and not realize you’re saying them wrong for a long time. I’ve been through some of that myself, and it’s embarrassing! And if you’re teaching others what you think is right but is actually wrong, there’s a lot of potential for a lot of people to learn things wrongly.

I’ll try to get around to reviewing the site in full soon, but lately I’m so busy, it may be a while.

I hope you are feeling better since your last comment to me! Did you have a chance to review Livemocha.com? I’d like to hear what you think about their social networking/peer support method. It seems like an interesting angle.
